Oh my god, yes! Yessssss! I have been using this mentality for years to supplement my fitness regimen. I do go to the gym and lift weights, I run about once a week, and I squeeze in yoga whenever I can — but the real difference is created when I also sweep and mop my own floors, walk to my apartment complex’s mailboxes (2 minutes each way) or the post office (20 minutes each way) instead of driving, and parking as far from the store entrance as possible.
