Thank you for this wonderful comment, Jacqueline. I love that Hopi prophecy and your interpretation of it. Indeed, I don't think it's ever possible to "build back what we had," because what we had was never the equitable, compassionate society of our dreams, was it? It's folly to try and live in the past, regardless of which past you're aching for. We have to move forward, and part of that is accepting where we are right now. Thank you again for this. It's a wonderful thing to meditate on. :)
