Unfortunately, our species, our civilization, as a whole, has defined women as weak, in need of constant "protection," dependent, and functional only as objects of desire and support for men. At least, that is what I have seen reflected all around me my whole life by social norms, media, and the people in the communities I've been a part of.
But like I said - I agree with you. I think we are using different frameworks to arrive at the same conclusion: patriarchy's definition of womanhood is a lie. We are so much more. Thank you so much for your insightful comments!
